The Show Ring
American Cavalier King Charles Spaniel National Show in Minnesota
In April 2017 I traveled to Minneapolis Minnesota for the National Show. It was attended by an entry of over 400 dogs participating in Agility, Obedience, Rally and Confirmation.
I took to the show a young hopeful boy named Cedar Creek Rise N Shine. He was in the baby class but did well by winning his Sweeps class out of a nice entry. In regular confirmation he made it through 2 cuts to the final selection. I am so pleased not only by this reconition but so proud of my boy who had not been exposed to all of this prior to the show.
The other dog I brought was Sugar N Spice. She has done well at speciality shows but needed just a few points to finish. With a bitch entry of 119 we were delighted beyond words to be awarded Winners Bitch to finish her Championship in style. A HUGE accomplishment for our small breeding program. Thank you to both Breeder Judges, Shelly Hodgkinson, Sweeps and Cindy Huggins Regular Confirmation

Leo and Tally have a great weekend Dec 6 at the Willamette Toy Show and Clark county Kennel Club Show. Tally went Brest of Breed from the Bred By Class over Specials. Thank You Judge Chuck Winslow For Tally's Best of Breed and also to Judge Timothy Robbins For Leo's Major Win.

Our own Julia Sklar showed Gemma so I could sit ringside and enjoy seeing her strut her stuff. I am so blessed to have Gemma, and the wonderful offspring she has given us. It was a great day to celebrate. Here is a picture of Gemma and Julia along with our judge Siv Jendresen
Here we are afterward celebrating a wonderful win.
Kinvaar El Regalio " Leo" places at the National
April 22, 2014 I showed Leo at the American Cavalier King Charles Spaniel National Show in Harrisburg PA. There were 620 total entries, all Cavaliers. Two of the most competitive classes are Bred by and Open Blenheim. We were in the Open Blenheim class, made the cut and took home a second place finish. Normally I dont get excited about a second place but this show was the largest in history. So many nice dogs and very competitive. Sp pleased with how Leo did. A big thank you to our Judge Jeanie Montford from Austrialia who did a fabulous job weeding through so many dogs.
Kinvaar El Regalio joins Cedar Creek
We are so very proud and thrilled to have "Leo" join us here from Scotland. He has a wonderful temperment, health and type which is backed up by a fabulous pedigree. We are excited to see what influence Leo will bring to Cedar Creek. He will begin his show career this year. Leo was bred by Ms. Debbie Kerr, Kinvaar. We are so grateful to Debbie for giving us this opportunity and trusting us with her boy!

Cedar Creek Isa Jewel takes another major in York PA to earn her CKCSC Championship and Best Bred By. Thank You to Judges Gill Baker, UK and Dale Martin, US for reconizing her qualities. After competing, Jewel snuggled into bed and enjoyed her new ribbon.
Winning her last major under US Judge Dale Martin in York PA
Jewel winning first Major
Jewel in Camel CA winning her 1st 4 pt Major under Judge Gill Baker, United Kingdom. This is an out of the ordinary show picture as it was taken on the last day. We were all tired, especially Jewel. She would not respond to the photographer so I stepped out, Gil held Jewel, we snapped the photo and my photographer Shelly Fields photoshoped me in :) Not your tipicall pose but I loved the look of all three of us so here it is.
Julia Sklar wins Best Junior with Jewel
at the supporting 2013 Nationals
I answered my phone one day to hear a young girl on the phone saying, "I really like dogs and was wondering if I could come visit you".
We made a time to meet which turned into a weekly meeting. Julia was just 13 years old at the time and shared my passion for dogs. Julia has learned alot over the last 4 years and is a huge help in handling puppies, helping with weekly grooming and shows. This win was particularly nice as it was in tough competition and was so well deserved. She has worked hard and I will forever be grateful for taking the time to know this extraordinary young women.
